OPPORTUNITES TO SHARE IN CHRIST'S SUFFERING AND HIS GLORY!

Everyone Is In A Wheelchair!

By: Kim Ordile

Back in 2012 my health started to decline. Today the wheelchair is my reality. Not wanting to make it all about me, God graciously reminded me that everyone feels like they are in a wheelchair.

  • The feeling that things are out of control.

  • Pushed in directions I didn't plan on going.

  • The fear of going too fast or the frustration of going too slow.

  • Heartache due to broken dreams.

  • Angry from having to live with limitations, consequences, boundaries, or restrictions.

  • Coping with changes that impact my identity or who I thought I was.

  • Anxiety that I might be rejected.

  • A sense of pain and lack of comfort and contentment to make it go away.

I have found that the only way for me to resolve any of these feelings in on my knees before God. God loves me and He loves you too! He longs to be in a relationship with us! Hard times cause our hearts to long for something deeper and real. This is found when we are in a relationship with the God who created us.

Accepting that Jesus is God's son and that He died and rose from the dead to pay for our sins is the only way to God. God is the only one that can give us peace, purpose, contentment, a true identity, and the security of being unconditionally loved.

I pray that no matter what your wheelchair may be that you will accept God's love you! I have found His love to be true in mine!

Jeremiah 29: 11-13 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world (you), that He gave His only son. That whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."

I  WALK WITH YOU

Written by: Kandace Terwilliger & Josh Caterer

Vocals: Gina Lynch & Josh Caterer

(verse 1)
My life has been a story of your grace
Your goodness surrounds me and is my hiding place
So now as darkness threatens and I stumble on the way
Jesus, lift my head and carry me and I will say

(Chorus)
Whatever you're doing now in me, however you work that I can't see
Wherever this road is leading me, I walk with you
Surrendering now again my fear, believing each moment you are here
Wherever this road is leading me, I walk with you

(verse 2)
Jesus you are my portion and my all
Your right hand upholds me, you keep me when I fall
Even though the clouds are dark and the valley's real
Jesus keep me fixed on you no matter how I feel

(Bridge)
Darkness hides, doubt erased, hope restored, praise I raise

Kim's Painting Project

Gospel Graffiti

This Friday I head back to Augusta for my three month evaluation. Since it is the Christmas season I tried to come up with a gift idea to give each member of my ALS team. My mom agreed to help me so I was excited to try something new. Needless to say painting simple letters while holding a foam paint brush with my teeth was harder than I anticipated.

I bought canvases for my mom to cover with red paint, ALS Association color. The next step was for me to paint the word HOPE. Comically I couldn't see when my brush was on the canvas because my eyes made everything blurry up close.  When I put on my reading glasses I started to paint way before I was even close to the canvas. I completely destroyed the plastic handle of the foam brush because I had to bite so hard in order to keep it steady. The towel across me was covered with drool instead of paint. So sorry you missed the show!

HOPE! It means more to me than holding my breath until I am healed.

Rather sharing with others in their dark moments that God is their HOPE, their HELP! We are not alone when we are hurting. God has been using my ALS to draw me closer to His heart, demonstrate His love and let me have a front row seat to see Him at work! I am not going to ever be able to paint pictures that display the greatness of my God. I will stick to graffiti! Words that cause you to pause and consider who God is to you!

"Smile" Video

By: Diana Caesar

I would like to thank my dear friend Diana Caesar for making me a music video! It is a photo album of cherished moments with people I love!

If there was a general theme in my life
this picture says it all!

Isaiah 41:13

I am holding you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God—and I say to you, Don’t be afraid; I am here to

help you.
